Recognising good employment practice

Many employers do a great job. We want to recognise those employers who go above and beyond.

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and AGMARDT (The Agricultural and Marketing Research and Development Trust) want to give them the recognition they deserve.

The inaugural MPI AGMARDT Primary Industries Good Employer Awards recognise primary sector employers or businesses who are:

  • providing great working conditions
  • giving their staff opportunities for upskilling and promotion
  • demonstrating exceptionally good employment practice.

We want to recognise their achievements to encourage all primary industries to provide great places for people to work and grow in their careers.
